The Welcome intensive (UE12) allowed students to experiment with collaborations and to define issues and topics related to the residency. Students define in this time devoted to the design project approach:

  • the transdisciplinary collective
  • collaborations within the host institution, but also with external contributors, designers, companies, researchers, teachers, experts
  • project objectives
  • the nature of individual contributions in relation to the professionalisation pathway
  • production modalities
  • material requirements and resources (school workshops, technical support, sources of reusable materials, etc.)
  • project presentation modalities
  • internship prospects based on the project and/or the professionalisation pathway
