DSAA Master @Ensaama

Following the Decree of 17 February 2025 relating to the Higher Diploma in Applied Arts — which enters into force from the 2025 academic year — the Higher Diploma in Applied Arts certifies a level corresponding to the acquisition of 120 European credits beyond the bachelor’s degree (DNMADE) or licence (180 ECTS credits). It is registered at level 7 of the interministerial nomenclature of training levels.

The DSAA certifies the acquisition of a foundation of knowledge and competencies in the disciplinary and multidisciplinary fields of applied arts. It certifies the training of future professionals capable of exercising project management responsibilities in the service of innovation. It develops design and craft strategies, in interaction with the multiple actors involved upstream, at the heart, and downstream of the creation process.

The DSAA prepares students in training both for direct professional integration and for continuation in research cycles leading to a level 8 qualification (doctorate).

The DSAA provides a common foundation of knowledge, theoretical, methodological, applied and practical skills, a foreign language practice, a digital practice compliant with national standards for higher education computer certificates, and a period of 12 to 16 weeks of professional experience. The DSAA offers opportunities for international partnerships and mobility.

ENSAAMA has an agreement with CNAM, Conservatoire national des arts et métiers.
